I don't like Nebo, oh no........

Woah. Nebo is a big hill. And I'm a big girl when it comes to riding up hills. I thought I better get some more hill climbs in with the epic only a few weeks away.....

I'd just like to have a whinge about my left knee. It's the one thing that's really holding me back and I'm a bit pissed off with it because I've never really done it any harm. What gives?

We've got another gig on Sunday, so off to Haycom to go and practice and whinge to more people about my knee..

Cats in the Alley

Well, Saturday was our first gig in a while (see 'parkland' link) and it went pretty well I can safely say from the feedback we got. Got another one this sunday@ the Troubadour which should hopefully see some rust taken off the toons.

Got bummed on another house yesterday. Moving sux the big one. Might just buy a tent and be done with it. At least I can assimiliate with the homeless a bit more though, they must have just gotten sick of looking.

Starting to get worried about the 'Epic' I mean, it's 100km, which is fine. But it looks like 50km on a 45deg incline, with little flat bits in between. Boooo hooo. I'm gonna die! I have been riding a bit though, only problem is that to go for a big-arse ride takes quite a bit of time which at the moment is something i don't have much of. Tomorrow maybe?

I'd also like to express my disgust at 'walkers' on the bicentennial bikeway. Fair enough it's a popular walk (as well as ride), but is your ass that big that you need to take up THE WHOLE PATH! Maybe I'll ride on the road more, WHERE THE SAME FAT ASSES RUN ME OFF IT!

I'm not angry though......

Market Penetration

Once again I have been thrown into the depths of general insurance and survived. There was definetly NO penetration in my department either. Come to think of it, there wasn't even anything to look at. Except the beach. Ahh the beach.

I'm definitely pissed off about that girl killed in Germany too. I know too many people that have had accidents on two wheels of some form and unfortunately it can happen to anyone. My best friend in year two died on a pushbike (i didn't find out until it was on the abc news) and I've probably been lucky on more than a few occasions too. I just read a post from another pongo and it appears the same has happened to her....lucky about that car....

On a lighter note, I managed to catch up on some reading to do with directional bass arrays and actually learnt some new stuff........boring i know. But can you ever have enough bass? I don't think so

I'm sick of monkeys that can't do their job properly. It's not rocket science! I hate having to re-do shit that other ass-clowns haven't gotten right......GrrrArrr

Enough bitching, have to catch up on a serious lack of sleep from the last few days. Plenty to do tomorrow, gigging tomorrow night and all that.

Wassup. I'd like to thank all the good people for letting me talk absolute and utter rubbish in some sort of civil fashion. For those who don't know me, I'm The Kurt that may have made the odd special guest appearance in The Ando and The Tamyka's BLOG's from time to time.

I decided that it was time for a change, and although I've been contributing to a few other posting's in various other crannies of the cosmos for some time (namely sector404) I'm going to concentrate my efforts and consolidate a lot of crappy idea's and observations that I may have previously had, and now wish to regurgitate upon you good people. It sux to be you....ha ha!

Standby for a standby on all of the above and plenty more where that all came from, whatever that means. There will also be plenty of stupid comments about myself and others, information about things you don't really need to know, and pictures of my dog Alfie who moonlights as a non-executive director of flight centre.
